Intended use and clinical application

BIOSYNEX COMBO COVID-FLU BSS is a combination antigen rapid test that enables qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B in a single sample. The test is designed for rapid clarification of respiratory symptoms so you can implement appropriate infection control, isolation and treatment without delaying patient flow. The result is read visually after approximately 10 minutes.

Sample type and procedure

Sample type: nasopharyngeal swab (NPS). The user-friendly procedure follows standard lateral flow practice with sample collection, extraction in the supplied buffer and subsequent application to the test cassette, after which the result is read after about 10 minutes. Kit contents and storage

Each box contains 25 tests with 25 sterile swabs, 25 pre-filled extraction tubes and 25 dropper caps, so everything needed to perform the test is included. Store at 2–30 °C. Manufacturer: BIOSYNEX SWISS SA (Switzerland).
