Test at least once a year

Chlamydia is the most prevalent sexually transmitted disease in Denmark. It is a bacterial infection that spreads by vaginal, oral or anal sex with a person who is already infected with the STD.

It is recommended that you be tested for chlamydia at least once a year if you meet one of the following requirements:

• Have changing sex partners or more than one partner
• Have a sex partner who has sex with others
• Has a sex partner with a sexual disease
• Not have used a condom during each intercourse
• Hair chlamydia symptoms

If your test is positive, you have more options for being treated. You can talk to your GP about getting a prescription at chlamydiakur. This is a penicillin cure where you have to take a pill every day for 3-7 days.
